Use Google apps to create custom email addres


Every one would love to have a custom domain. like help@basics.com.So do you. It's a plus point for online businesses.Here in this post I'll explain how to make a custom email with a registered domain.

Things Required : A domain , Google account( Gmail will do)

Before you start if already own a domain , you must be able to access and change your DNS settings. You can usually find the DNS settings of DNS from whom you purchased your domain name. In this example, we'll use Indialinks.com and the DNS is located in the Domain Manager.

1.Sign up for Google Apps.After entering your Domain name click on get started and on the next page fill the details and click on continue Button.If you don't have a domain then you can register one with Google Apps.

2.Setup your email With your domain and click accept.Now verify your domain ownership by Meta Tag method or by just uploading a document provided that Google will provide

3.After creating free Email ID in Google Apps you need to setup your DNS Like MX, in your Domain Settings.

4.Visit Gmail login page and enter your custom email address like name@domain.com("eg : windows@basic.org") and Sign in.
